They make lamps for reptiles at some exotic stores. Go to your local one and see what they have.

If you can't afford a heat lamp you can improvise with household heat until you are able. By far a lamp with the proper bulb is best but to temporarily fix the situation, you can use a heating pad if the snake is in a glass tank. Keep it on low and make sure to put a towel or something between the pad and glass. If not the glass will overheat and can burn your snake.

I would use a Heat lamp and if you needed more you can use an under the tank heat pad. ( this will only raise the heat approx 5 degrees above what ever the temp of the room is) I wouldn't recommend a heat rock. The reason is if the snake/lizard is on it partially it thinks it might still need heat and then the portion of the animal that is on the heat rock will burn or when they malfunction they can rise in heat.
Snakes do not need UVB but turtles and most lizards do.

Its extremely what ever you prefer. the two of them artwork sufficiently you ought to use a lamp throughout the time of the day and a warmth pad at night reckoning on the temperature of your place or you ought to use basically a lamp throughout the time of the day no longer something in any respect at night or a warmth pad 24/7 yet for a faunarium it could be superb to apply a warmth pad get one for a 5-10 gallon tank and place a wash textile between the fraunarium and the warmth pad to dodge it from getting too warm. A hatchling ought to stay in a small enclosure till its some months old.

use a under the tank, heating pad, with it you need a therm-0-regulator,to set the temp. if not the pad can reach 115 deg. you can get these at any pet store.the best thing before you ever buy a reptile, read up,then ask questions, get your cost and price, because they can get a little costly, then buy you new pet.lizards are the only reptiles that get HEAT ROCKS,they can burn your snake.I own 7 snakes, and I bought all my aquariums from yard sales and news papers, and made my own lids.If I want a new snake I get everything first, then the snake.I have bought 55 gallon tanks as low as $50 dollars and one was brand new

A regular 50 or 75 watt bulb is good depending on the size of tank. I use an under tank heater on one side so the snake can regulate it own temp

try a heating pad turned to lowest setting. You can put a small towel over it if you think it's too warm. Also, snakes like to snuggle, that's right. snuggle. Put it under your shirt, or under your pillow at night. Your body heat is good for it, also because they need to be handled as much as possible.

Undertank heat pads on one side of the tank with the hide half over it is best. Heat tape underneath or along the back of rack systems works well also.
