If honey will give a dog brain damage then why did my vet tell me to give my pomeranian a teaspoon of honey twice daily because it had low blood sugar.

honey is in recipes for homeade treats
and
it is in recipes for a nutritious breakfast for 8-12 week old puppies.

So no it will not cause brain damage it is perfectly safe.

no, ur dog will not get brain damage if he eats some honey on a toast as honey is simply natural sugar that tends to hve more fructose and natural energy boosters so giving ur dog some honey will not affect him in any manner unless he is diabetic as diabetics have less tendency to digest sugar.

I don't believe that the honey will cause brain damage, but the experts say that sugar of any kind is not good for animals. I am no expert, but I have given my dogs sugary treats from time to time and no body has died from sugar, yet. My moto is "every thing in moderation!" but for safety's sake, it is always good to go with what the wife says!

No absolutely not. One of our emergency procedures if our diabetic Dane takes a wobbler, is to smear honey on her gums.
This gets her blood sugar back up to normal.

And they get toast all the time... whether we say its ok or not lol.

No, actually honey is used in small dogs when they are puppies to keep their sugar level up. It is safe as long as it is in moderation.

No it's safe. Nuts and chocolate are not though - except peanuts, because those aren't truly nuts (legumes).
