That they are, as well as unique. Hope you have seen "March Of The Penguins". (Have some of the pics from movie on computer/wallpaper). Although the movie contains very harsh look at the reality of the struggle of these incredible creatures to survive in Antartica, it is also very informative as well as entertaining. Also, have you seen the breed that lives in the warmer waters...can't recall name or where exactly, and they look somewhat different than their northern cousins, but also amazing!

DUDE PENGUINS ROCK!!! I love them. Black and white animals rock. Especially pandas. PANDAS AND PENGUINS!!!! YAY. I am an animal freak I like every animal alive except some humans I don't like especially animal abusers. :( But I love every other animal. Don't you?!

I think penguins are way awesome.
But considering you put the question under pets, I'd say... DON'T. Penguins are for the wild, don't think about getting one because they're awesome. Please. ((If that IS what you're thinking...))

YES!!!! are you kidding penguins rock there like my fave animal!!!! i love how they waddle around!!!! and i love the ones with the yellow mahocks!!! haha there the best! my brother syas they look like cigars but i dont care there soooo cute!!!!!

i pent a year in antarctica . with ratheon polar services . they stink and i got tired of seeing penguins

Yes their awfully cute! My lil doxie looks a bit like one when she sit's up and flaps her 2 tiny front feet at me. :)

Yes, and they are different than any other birds b/c they don't fly and can swim underwater very well. They are unique, and adorable.
