Yes, it's okay. Some cats don't like to be bathed, and it's not worth the trouble to get them a bath. You can take a wet wash cloth and wipe him down. Also, they make cat wipes. They can be bought at petsmart.

It is OK, since they clean themselves at all times. To try to have a cat bathe you have to do it since they were little, my cat enjoys his baths. But no it not necessary to bathe them, just make sure you put flea stuff on him or her every month as usual.

My cat is now 9 years old and i can count on my hand how many times hes been bathed. They do a great job grooming themselves, unlike dogs. If it is a flea problem, let the vets do it. They are professionals at it and no more "blood shed" for you.

No. Its cruel to tub cats. They aboslutly HATE water. i exchange into staring at a video on YouTube and the adverse cat exchange into crying to get out. No ask your self your cat exchange into scuffling with you. Cats clean them selves ok. If its a bengal cat its very properly by way of fact bengal cats ussually like water. never bathe them except they like water.

basically cats simply hate water, so if u would directly take to a bath tub and try to get him a bath then it would simply frighten him and would give u grave stiuations, instead first wet ur hands and lther some soap on ur hands and then just try to touch ur cat's body and apply the soap to wherever possible but don't try to make her feel that u are going to make her wet and then wash the soap off her body by simply apply a wet towel and rub off the soap off her body and don't forget to give her reward for being calm, this will help her become more calm during such situations.also cats generally keep themselves clean by licking themselves, but they can't keep off pests like lice etc,so bathe ur cats once in a while may help her keep away from diseases and pests.

It is fine to not bathe your cat, cats are constant groomers & bathe themselves & most do not appreciate water, Mine is 17 years old and never had a bath & she is white, people have even asked me how I kept her so clean..lol

i have had this problem also. cats should be able to keep clean themselves so bathing them is not a problem. if your cat has ticks or fleas, go to the vet or some place where they get other people to bath your cat for you.

Cats are very clean animals, so unless he smells or has fleas I wouldn't worry about cleaning him. If you are really concerned, pet stores sell wipes you can use to clean your pet without water that won't harm them if they lick it. They sell special formulas for cats. I just keep my two kitties nicely brushed (they're both short haired tabbys) and they take care of the rest themselves!

cats really do'nt need to be bathed because they bath them selves when they lick them selves they are cleaning them selves and thatis how they get there bath so you do not need to give them a bath but if you need to get rid of fleas the get some flea spray that is nontoxic....
