8mo. labs. although uncommon this early in there life, they suffer from skin and food allergies. I got them from amish puppy mill and have been committed to giving them a good home. I currently have them on Hills prescription diet from there vet. I was wondering if any body else dealt with this and found a cheaper brand or idea. They are also fatty acid supplement. They are really great dogs.

A friend and I were discussing this today. There is a pet cemetary down the road from where she lives and a horse is buried there.
So, we wondered if it was the norm to bury them?

My cat is incredibly bright. He is fairly big, skinny, very glossy shiny soft coat, orange leopard spotted coat/tail, with a white belly and white face with "spectacle" marks, golden eyes, big ears, longish face. He is the most beautiful, cutest cat in the world, loves to roll on his belly and play in water. He is also verrry, verrrry smart. He can break into my fridge, his food cabinet, get up on just about any surface, and I really think he'd be good at solving puzzles or something like that if they existed for cats. He understands basic English and hand gestures pretty well, too. If I could teach him some sort of game to play in his idle hours, I think it'd make him a lot happier. Plus, he'd have something to do while I was busy. I know he's smart enough to learn. He understands mirrors and all that... but it's just - how do I go about it? And what kinds of games can a cat learn - is there anything out there, how do I explain to him? Anyway, if you have ideas, let me know.

Is it normal for kittens to become nicer when they're fixed? She's being way more affectionate than usual. Or did she just miss being home while she was at the hospital?

I just got my kitten spayed, and the vet said try to not let her jump on anything higher than the couch, or run. She's a kitten! How can I possibly keep her from doing such? I have another cat, and they like to rough house. I don't want to lock her up..............Any ideas?

What size brains do they have? Are they very smart? Can they do tricks like dogs? Do they learn with classical conditioning?
I know this sounds like a lot, but I'm trying to find out the learning behaviors of wallabies for a project.

My dog is a 50 lb chow mix and she smells really stinky. Is there anything in the house to remedy a stinky dog? I really can't afford anything from the pet store.

time choosing an appropriate treat or chewy. Don't give her much treats, because I want her to b in good health and trim. Any ideas?
Another question: There's a woman who brings her dog, similar to a Lhasa to the dog park, and the dog is very overweight, and looks sick. I have spoken to the woman, who is foreign with broken English. Have tried to explain to her my concern for her dog, she I feel that she doesn't understand (our cultures are different). Maybe she would rather sit home, watch the soaps and walk her dog down the driveway and back. When I asked her if she took the dog to the vet, she replied that the doctor said the dog is fine. I pointed to my dog, and all the other dogs in the small dog section, and said that none of these dogs look like that. It really bothered me, because I can guarantee, that if I was allowed to take that dog home for a week--by the end of the week---that dog would not look like that! Any suggestions?

Can guppies live communally in a small tank and can you safely put male and female guppies in the tank at the same time? Or will they fight and kill each other? And why do Walmarts guppies die so fast?

without getting pregnant? Having a pet is a rewarding experience! When the pet is going through an unhealthy period, you may seem that it will never end. But it always does. Passed much unhealthy dog problems, and it's nice to sit back and enjoy the good, healthy times presently. It's a shame that Idiots who mistreat their pets DON'T know and don't bother to make conditions better.
But, back on track. Since, baby-days are over for me----the dog is my BABY!
