After he eats as much of his dinner that he can, he pushes his food bowl with his nose anywhere else he can - other rooms, under the kitchen table, etc.

I have recently bought a Siberian Dwarf named Scooba. He is just a baby, and I really want to keep him for a while, and my mother told me to search on the net about info for it, and nothing quite satisfies me. Please tell me the DO's and DONT's, what I should buy, and things like that.
I have an aquarium for Scooba, but I dont have a lid for it; hes so small i dont think he'll be able to escape anyway. I have some food, aspen, and a little dome house for him to sleep in, but I dont have a running wheel. Should i get it? I have a water bottle, and I am keeping track of how much he eats/drinks. How much food should i feed him daily? My mother says "fill the bowl to the brim," but i dont want him really fat.
I have read a lot of websites, but i would really enjoy some actual experienced advice.
ALSO: soon, I will get another home for Scooba; what kind is best? I have heard metal breaks legs, so what?
Thanks!

What color should I get? Should I get a male or female? What should I name him/her? How old should they be (cat/kitten)? (I have owned one before, but I'm adopting a new one now and I'm not sure what to get, all the cats at the shelter are so adorable...)

I feel that this would be a fitting memorial to Gunzo as he always enjoyed the feel of the wind. Also, it would enable Gunzo to live on in the memory of others whenever they see his statue. Two questions, does anyone know of any legal regulations I need to follow regarding this? And has anyone done something similar when their beloved pet died?

I volunteer at an animal shelter. Last week I was working and this really, REALLY mean dog came one day and they were going to euthanize him, but I said I would take him.e is a pitbull-German shepherd mix, 4 years old, and apparently was one of the friendliest puppies in his litter. He was kicked and cruelly abused while a young puppy (ex. his first owner actually GOUGED OUT HIS RIGHT EYE because he snapped at him one time while he was kicking him), because he was born and bred especially to be a vicious guard dog, and then later was actually used in dog fighting. Then he and 2 other dogs were confiscated for animal abuse, and turned over to us.
He is MEAN. He hates all people and animals, and would bite your hand off as soon as you touch him. I took him because I believed after he was treated kindly he would make someone a great pet. Euthanization and killing are out of the question. It's not his fault he's been tortured. So far I've been keeping him in a pen. What should I do?

3 weeks ago, our cat had a severe allergic reaction to a flea spray. Our vet gave him his rabies shot, a shot so he would quit scratching (he's allergic to flea bites) and his monthly flea medication. 3 days ago, I noticed he had developed two open wounds on his front leg, and back leg, almost the size of a pencil eraser. He seems lethargic, labored breathing, minimal bowel movements. Our vet will not be in his office until tomorrow. He is still eating, though not as much as usual. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Fairly low cost and I'm no pro at grooming, but I can brush/give baths. Pretty small. Low maintence and needs to get along well with other animals and kids. CANNOT BE AGGRESSIVE. Also, I live in the country, and it may have to stay outside. Something that can show affection please. Please tell the breed if it's a dog.

I got an 8 year old cat about 6 weeks ago. This weekend, she developed loose stool, and vomited once. I took her to the vet, everything checked out fine, and now she's back at home, taking antibiotics, and eating a prescription food that's made to be gentle on the G/I tract. The problem is that since she came home on Monday evening, she hasn't pooped once. I know that a cat eating wet food (she normally eats dry) drinks less, but she shouldn't be dehydrated eating wet food... Her appetite is normal, and she doesn't seem to be straining or making unsuccessful trips to the litterbox. She doesn't seem uncomfortable at all. Is this something I need to counteract? It seems odd that she's gone from loose stool to none, especially with this new food. I'd rather not head back to the vet (and spend another $150) unless needed. Any help/ideas? Her old owner said she gets constipated from time to time, and has some prescription meds that she used for it, should I use that??
