if that'd happen to my dog.. plan would be:
1) post flyers everywhere.. and I mean EVERYWHERE with the most current photo, as much description as possible, and offer reward
2) drive in the neighborhood every day and ask people who walk their dogs to see if they saw anything.
3) call animal shelters every day.. and not only in the city, but all nearby ones too.
4) hope for luck

Organize all of your friends. Start a word of mouth campaign. Walk the whole area. Show people the posters. Alert the police. Give the poster to the cops. Get out there and pound the pavement. Look in places where he might have hidden or gotten hurt. Get family to help too. The more searchers, the better the chances.

Call local shelters and let them know your dog is missing. Some people will take strays or lost pets there. Search your entire neighborhood. Continue to put up posters - especially in stores or places where people often visit. Put an add in a local paper. I hope you find him.

while our dogs ran away we contacted the close by animal administration to work out if that they had picked her up and particular sufficient that they had. We have been in a position to get her back precise away. a minimum of this is a place to initiate, and that for the period of addition they'll shop an eye fixed out for the dogs maximum situations.

i suggest calling or goin to shelters around the area. and is he micro chipped?? if not don worry about if soo call the vet and explain to them what happened and they should b able to help if not. just keep putting posters up make sure your neighbors no hes missing. and maybe if you can afford say youll get a reward for returning it. some people dont even bother if there isnt a reward. and im sorry. hell turn up. just keep cheaking shelters andvets offices and what not. good luk@@!!!

call any shelters near by or in the county area. also call your vets arround the area they may be able to help out. put adds in the paper. keep up the flyers arround your neighborhood. tell all your friends and family that he is missing so they can keep an eye out for him. someone will find him or he will come home on his own when he is hungry. good luck i hope you find him really soon.
