No, but I got a new dog not long ago, and if I set out food for him, my other dog and the cat he becomes hysterical and has to eat (gulp) from everyone else's bowl and won't let them eat!! I also have cats outdoors, and the same thing? If he sees me feeding them, he tries to break down the sliding glass door!

He's saving it for later. My shepherd takes food by the mouthfuls and drops it into different corners of the rooms. My Beagle follows after her and eats the food.

he is happy and is playing with his bowl. or wanting to get your a attention that he's a good dog. pick the bowl up, pat his head, tell him goodboy and put the bowl back where you keep it. get his favorite toy and play with him. tell him NO when you first pick up the bowl. this might help but i think this is a cute jester.

Like burying his bone, he is saving it for later.
If you don't want him to do that, when he is finished eating pick up the bowl.
