My dog is a 50 lb chow mix and she smells really stinky. Is there anything in the house to remedy a stinky dog? I really can't afford anything from the pet store.

Yes, I know I should bathe her, but is there something I can spray on her to deoderize her that is safe?

If she has an odor and a bath doesn't help she may have a skin infection or problems with her anal glands. Both of these need to be checked out by a vet.

If regular baths aren't working then she may have a skin condition that may require treatment. Try a haircut-take a few inches off of her fur and see if that helps. When you bathe her mix in some baking soda for the odor as long as she doesn't have sensitive skin and make sure to dry her off completly as soon as you can after her bath. My St. Bernard smells after baths if we don't get him dried off all the way.

Well, if its body smell you can get good shampoos that will help; they have some with oatmeal base that are excellent.

Be sure it isn't the dog's breath, because it could have a bad tooth or other health issue in which case you should get it to the vet.

Be sure it isn't the dog's ears, because it could have a mite problem or ear infection, likewise, get it to the vet.

Dont wash the dog to much,if you do that will cause her to stink more. Dont know the specifics, but dog release these oils from there skin to protect them. Once every month is okay, even once every two months. Take the dog to the vet, it might be fungus or a skin condition

Try changing it's diet.
Give him a premiun dog food, and if you use can food, avaid it, or just give him a small portion, can food makes dogs smell.

Don't use Febreeze on the dog! I've heard that its not good for the dog's health. Causes liver problems? I dunno. Maybe I should ask a question about that one..
