Yeah and if thaty grosses you out here's another one, everytime your cat rubs their face against you they are doing it to rub saliva from the side of their mouth onto you,in a way marking you,it's puts their pheromone scent on you. Wanna see a cat freak out, find a cat that your cat hates but that likes you,let it rub on you that way then go home. You might have to take a shower in order to pick up your own cat, depending on how tolerant your cat is,I found that one out the hard way.

this is basically an involuntary way some cats have of showing how plenty they relish the closeness and convenience of being petted with the aid of you. that's a throwback to while they have been kittens and can drool while on the factor of the mum cat in anticipation of having milk and heat temperature. Our male cat drools plenty while being petted that i attempt to maintain an previous towel available in any different case i might finally end up soaked.

as cats get older, they drool when we pet them and when they feel extreme happiness.

my mother's cat was always drooling when i petted her (she was over 10 years old) and my cat sometimes, but rarely drools and shes 6.

so just keep a Kleenex box close, and you'll be fine.

My male kitten loves to jump up on my boyfriend's chest and rub his face against his facial hair. Funny part is he's a drooly kitty too, so he drools all over my boyfriend's face! It's pretty amusing.

My Tony does! He drools when he's happy. He likes to sit on my chest when I'm laying down and let me pet him, then he starts drooling. :) It's icky, but it lets me know that he's happy.

My cat blows bubbles, too. As if the drool wasn't nasty enough...

my daughter's boyfriend's cat does! Just for your own peace of mind, though, have your cat checked out-may be an issue with his teeth, or overactive salivary glands.
