We just got our son a rabbit for his birthday. Occasionally the rabbit will take little nibbles of my son's arm. She hasn't broke through his skin...yet.

How do we stop her from doing this?

Also, which are more affectionate? Males or females?

Thanks. :)

I have a 3-year-old cat. It never goes out since I adopted her two and a half years ago, and I never feed her raw meat. But her toxoplasmosis antibody is positive. I'm planning to have a baby now. My toxo. test is negative. And I have to change the litter myself 'cause my husband is often on a business trip. I'd like to know whether my cat is likely to shed oozysts again. What can I do to avoid being infected?

I don't get it?

If I'm a professional breeded and have been for years as well as several people on my family? why can't I breed cats?

I understand the overpopolation thing. It's unbelievable the number of animals being put to sleep because there are no homes.

However if you want an exotic cat, like a persian, ragdoll, hymilian, etc. and there are no kittens available in the shelters why can't a person come to a breeder, if they really want a kitten?

.That's what I do. I'm a breeder, when I have at least 3 families call me and ask me about a kitten, then I have my cat checked out, and have her mate with my cousins cat(a cat they adopted from me about 5 years ago).

It's really crazy that when I ask a question about my kittens they say "you should have had her fixed" and call me an irresponsible pet owner when, as you just read above I have been doing this for years, in fact generations.

cat?
She is an Orange Tabby and they used to feed her Meow Mix, but since they are getting too old to remember when to feed her, I have been helping out. I have a dog & its just easier to bring some of the Alpo that I buy.

My english bulldog loves lettuce, carrots, mayonnaise..lots of weird stuff. I like giving him a few bites of stuff to see if he will eat it. And he usually does! What does your dog like?

On Father's Day are yorkie gave birth to 6 healthy pups. The mother&father are great parents, are only problem is since the puppies were born the father named Little Bit hikes his leg and urinates on things. I know this is the way male dogs mark there domain but is there anyway we can change this behavior? All six puppies were sold within 12 weeks, we started selling at 8 weeks. Could this behavior change now that the puppies are gone?

She was dumped at my house and she was already pregnant. I don't have the money to take her to the vet for an ultrasound. I can take her if its an emergency though. Her milk came in about 2 days ago but she isnt nesting or throwing up or anything. She still eats like a horse. She is outside and my husband wont let her come in the house because we have 2 babies and he thinks she could bite them if she is in pain. She has a dog house outside with plenty of hay. I just want to make sure and be here if she needs help so any info about what I should look for when she gets close to delivering would be helpful. Thanks.

There's a grey cat that has visited my house more and more over the last few weeks. It keeps finding ways into the house - it manages to jump in through the smallest open windows.
My housemate started feeding it and lets it stay at night. We put it out as often as we can, but it fights to stay in, or just immediately jumps back in through a window. When it does stay out, it's never gone for long.

One day there a kitten came with it. It appears to be owned by the same person as they have the same collars (although they are pretty generic collars, one of only two kinds sold at the local pet store, there are no names or numbers on them). It seems too young to be out - it seems pretty helpless, and keeps trying to suckle on our hands, or any bit of bare skin it can reach!

We're under the impression that these cats are being neglected at home. The kitten, especially, seems to be too young to be out and undernourished. Do we kick them out and leave them to go home or phone the RSPCA?

Hello all and thanks in advance for ur positive responses.

I have a cute ragdoll cat who gave birth to 4 kittens. I had her mate on purpose so I could have a new kitten in mt own home as well as at my 2 sisters and one brothers house.

The kittens are almost 7 weeks old and I would like to have them spayed and neutered (except for my kitten, so I can continue breeding) b4 I give then away. And more important than that I want to have me cat fixed (she runs out from time to time, usually when I'm bringing in groceries or laundry,) and I'm terrified she may be in heat without me knowing it and mate when I least expect it and I would'nt feel right killing kittens by having her neutered then.
But I defently don't want mix breed kittens.

Someone told me about a site that gives away vouchers you can print out for discounts or free neutering.

She's almost stopped nursing and I would love to set an appointment for her for a little peace of mind.

I live in Philadelphia,

My 9 moth old rotti/hound mix usually eats everything, even table food. He also will eat toys and other objects, if I don't catch him in time. He did not eat last night and he seems to be very sleepy, not active at usual. His stomach sounds gurgly. He hasn't pooped either, today. What can do for him, or do I have to take him to the expensive vet?

My dog Brutis ran away on 9/23/06, and was last seen on 9/24/06. He ran away at my mom's house who lives a couple of miles away, and found his way back home and was sitting at the door. However, when we approached him he ran. We saw him again running towards our house the following day, buy were unable to catch him. He is a toy fox terrier. Sometimes mistaken for a Jack Russell or Chihuaha. He weighs about 7lbs. He is white, with black spots and brown on his face. He has a docked tail. If you have any information or suggestions, please contact me. Email: Krischik99@aol.com
