I just got a cat a couple months ago, we named her Sophie. It was the only name my boyfriend didn't hate. It is close to my first cat's name, Smokey, too.

KC (or casey) short for kitty cat. but jinx was a good answer too. edit check-jinx sucks. forgot about "meet the parents" forget crap like smokey and midnight too. way too common

My black cat's name is Midnight. My last black cat's name was Billy (he lives with my mom). My next black cat will be named Shadow.
I love black cats! They're always so gentle.
