Can a dog get pregnant buy one dog on one day and and a couple days later get pregnant by another dog too? And then when it comes to whelping, whelp the first dogs puppies, and a day or two whelp the other dogs? Becuz my neighbors dog, got with 2 dogs while in heat, and whelped puppied last night, I went over to have a glance at the pups, my neghbors said she thinks theres still one in there, she can feel a lump that feels like a head, she's not sure if the lump is the im not sure what it's called on a dog, but its the uterus on humans. Is it possible it just may still be swollen, or like I said can she go into labor again, I know she needs to see a vet...

I read it can cause malnutrition, but I don't only give him this. He loves it, it's something different once a week. He does get meow mix kitten dry food regularly, and dental treats. He won't be mal-nourished, will he? He does not like wet cat food, I've tried.

There's a lot brand that say they are the best and the best source for nutrition for YOUR dog. But what's really the best food a dog can eat? (outside of actual meat products)

Why do people care so much if my dog takes a poop outside in an open field but then say nothing about all the trash laying around ? At least the poo will disappear after it rains.

Do you weigh the options in your mind about your eternal security, or do you just shrug it off like it`s no big deal?

Our cat is very wierd, why because when I met my man it was just him and the cat and then the kid every other week. It took this cat over a year to get use to me, and he runs from the kids because they and the dog that he was around tormented him not abusively though, they just wanted to play and didin't realize that they were doing more harm than good. So when I came in to the picture I stopped all that, we have also just bought a new house and I put him on medication so that the move wouldn't be so stressful for him and that seemed to work. Also since we moved he seems to come out more and socialize and we have been in our house now for about 2 months. The problem is that in the last 2 weeks he has been pooping on the carpet and now today it was both the carpet and the floor in the same day, we have already tried to accomadate him and his litter is always clean. SO I'M AT MY WITS END NOW AFTER WHAT HAPPENED TODAY!!! HELP HELP HELP because we are going out bird hunting on SAT.

I used to have a pet hairless rat. I know, gross, don't know why I got it, he was mean, I was like 10. He used to get this huge welt looking thing on his back and my Mom could tell it was a zit. It seemed to bother him so she actually popped it for him. It came back several times. Did he only get that because he was hairless or can other animals (with hair) get zits?

We're buying a house and will be moving in around the 1st of November. There's a fenced in yard but I don't think it would be enough for a large dog. Besides, I would want it to be a house dog. We have a 2yr old, a 3yr old and two cats. Considering all of this, which may be the ideal dog?

I just found out that most major cat and dog food makers (especially Iams) do really horrible experiments on cats and dogs in labs to develop their products. This encompasses every brand of food I've ever fed my cats. I want to feed my cats healthy food, but I don't want to give any more money to companies that torture animals. Does anybody know of healthy cat food that doesn't test on animals?

Ok, so mommy gerbil, or daddy gerbil ate one baby, bit the back feet off another, and had started biting on the feet of a third. I separated them when I cleaned the cage and found the dead baby. These guys are not starving, though they might have been a bit hungry - they squirl their food out of the the dish and I can't tell if they hid it or ate it, but I feed them on average every time I see the dish empty.

Here is the question - mommy gerbil is definately expecting again - will she eat newborns after already eating the pups from a previous litter or does she know the difference. Should I remove dad before the new litter is born?

Also, what are the chances that the baby with no back feet will survive? The wounds have caughterized themselves and are not bleeding, but he/she can't jump, though he/she can move around pretty good...? Will the siblings kill it?

Right now I have the 4 remaining pups in a cage all their own, their eyes are all open and they are eating seeds
