Yes, it is completely safe.

I would put the snake in a snake bag or pillow case. Tie it shut. Then place the bag into either a rubbermaid tote that has some holes melted in it (you can do it with a $5 soddering iron from any hardware store) or into a box with holes cut into the sides. You can put newspaper or bedding on the bottom of the tote/box so that if the snake pees, there is something to soak it up. Tape the box or tote shut so the snake can't escape and you are good to go.

Open the box or tote(but not the bag) a few times a day just move the air around.

Have a safe trip.

Ive had snakes since I was 11. Definitly dont even try flying with him. If your driving you can take him. Remeber to keep tha temp in the car warm enough for him and I would keep him in a pillow case and tie the open end. The pillow case will keep him from seeing movement around him and allow him to breath through the thin material. Oh and try not to play music too loud. Ive traveled with mine that way many times!

I don't think it would be safe because they regulate their heat by their surroundings. If you put him under the plane as a checked baggage it would get too cold and he would probably freeze to death. You should call a vet that deals with reptiles and ask them what you should do. That would be your best bet.

if you think your going to fly with him good luck. airlines dont alow reptiles on board. shipping him is expencive and most people arnt sertified to do it legaly. driving with him would be ok as long as your responsable about it but your best bet is to have a friend look after him.
