I would be careful doing that. It would also depend on the size. If the neons are small ones, and the angel fish are large, they'll eat the neons like popcorn shrimp.

Angelfish like little fish, and they'll pick at them until they kill whatever little fish it is.

You can try getting the jumbo neons, and get a decent sized school of them. If the angel is really big, best to keep the neons out of that tank.

I agree with Bobby D ... The larger angel fish can be agressive and pick on the neons, make sure you do get the jumbo neons and have plenty of weeds or rocks they can hide in or around. Good luck!
