We have a 7 year old dog, who by the way is fixed, and he only humps the other boy dog and NOT our female. Is there anyway to break this habit and what causes this? Is it for dominence? Our other dog is two and also fixed.

We have tried EVERYTHING. And I do mean everything. We have tried both the major brands of topspot treatments (advantage and Frontline), flea baths and dips, powders. We treated our apartment with a spray we bought from the vet (Mycodex flea treatment). The fleas aren't getting on us, but they are driving my little dog NUTS! He isn't infested with them, but when I bathe him I find at least three or four fleas. What do you do when the fleas just won't go away??? Is it possible for fleas to travel from apartment to apartment? Our downstairs neighbors have a flea infestation that they do absolutely nothing about, and I think once I get rid of the fleas we have, they travel up from their apartment! Help!

PS. The dog has gone to the vet for the problem. The vet recommended the Frontline and the Mycodex Home Treatment, to no avail. My dog sees the vet on a regular basis.

she's big and intimidating, but she has a mindset somewhat similair to a kitten. My sister revealed to me today her reluctance to have my dog near her kids... a four year old girl, and a six year old girl. My dane has been around her kids on numerous occasions, but everytime she sees a news story about a dog hurting a kid... it makes it that much harder for me and jeanie to stop by. She says- your dog is just toooo big. I know the truth, my nieces are the safest they can ever be when uncle ricky and his dane are in town. How do I convince my sister?

I have a young kitten we got her froma stray cat. We gave her a gentle wash but there are signs of moving larvi. Will "Off" be absorbed through the skin and hurt a cat? I wanted to give her an repellent for figt the remaining critters on her body. They are most near her nose.
