We have a 7 year old dog, who by the way is fixed, and he only humps the other boy dog and NOT our female. Is there anyway to break this habit and what causes this? Is it for dominence?

Yes,your dog is displaying dominance behavior.
Doesn't mean he is gay like some idiots think.

Ok, this behavior is more than likely dominance, expecially if the other dog is younger. Breaking may not be so easy, but a small misting bottle with just plain ol' water in it works wonders for other bad habits on some dogs. Just mist in his general direction when you see him doing the humping.

This is normal. It is really a way they show effection. I would be willing to bet that he is more humping the air next to him rather than the actual dog. My girl has a dog that does the same thing.
Try putting his nose next to the female dogs vagina, it will only work if he is ready, but thats about all you can do.

I dont know how to break the habit, nor if it is about dominance, however I would keep him away from any screenings of Brokeback Mountain ...

Does you dog also enjoy listening to show tunes and have a penchant for other dogs' bums? He might be gay.
