My galah was rescued from a road where it had its wing broken by a car.. We have had it for 3 years now, and it lives in a large enclosure in the back garden.. Lately it has been plucking its feathers out ( on the chest and wings )& i have noticed its beak looks dry and is not smooth..,
We feed it mixed seeds, Should we feed it something other then mixed seeds,

Also, Allys cage is under an apple tree, Could pollen from the tree be making her sick also?

Thanks in advance..

My cat ALWAYS throws up her food. I don't know why. She isn't depriving herself of anything though (trust me, she's HUGE). She just always throws up. Someone told me that this might have something to do with an allergy to animal protein in most pet foods. Does anyone know anything specific about this?

She's a 5 or 6 year old calico (thrown up her entire life)

I work at a pet store and we got a Jenday conure about a month ago that i have hand-raised and given a lot of love and attention to because he was so underweight. I really want to buy this bird and finally showed it to my mom, who actually fell in love with it. It's basically a done deal, but my parents are concerned about what will happen to the bird in the next year or so as I transfer to another school. I'm a freshman in CC right now and was wondering if anyone knew of any schools that allowed birds or maybe another alternative for me?

that bite people? My puppy that is soon to be 4 months (had her since she was 8 weeks) bites my family members including me and people who come over the house. Is this normal or does she have behavioral problems? If so, then how do I fix this problem? (not by getting rid of her... etc.)

Also, why do dogs eyes change color ? is it because of the lighting? I noticed my jack russell's eyes go green when he's scared but then red when he's sitting down...why is it the dog's can't give eye contact? i try to speak to my dog but he always turn away. he will look at me for a few minutes but will not stare into my eyes for that long... does that intimidate him??

Help! My parents want to get rid of my new dog, Lucky. He was abused and never trained, when we first got him he was timid, but now we can't contain him! He is slowly getting better but he is still tearing up the garage and hurting our older dog, Dexter, who is too old to play or defend himself, by trying to play. I really love Lucky, my first dog recently died of cancer, so if my parents can't train Lucky soon, I'll loose ANOTHER dog... Please help.

I have a African Grey and I am disabled from a car wreck so I am around the house a lot. I will be doing things around the house and some days he will be on sholder for most of the day. He does have a play stand. I will get him out of his cage about eight or nine in the morning. I did not know if you could spend too much time with them?

Last night I woke up to find a wet spot on my bed and I it came from my dog, I changed the sheets and then a few hours later there was another wet spot. When I woke up everything was ok but later on as my dog was laying on my bed again....i noticed another wet spot except there were two side by side. My dog is about to be 14 years old...she is in very good health other than a little arthritis. I don't think it is her urine, but I don't know. If anybody has had a similar experience please share it.

my male guppies will not leave the females alone. all day and all night they are chasing them and it looks like they are nipping at the females fins... i thought it might be some mating thing, but its so constant that im getting worried about the health of my females. there are plenty of females and few males, but they seem to bug the sh*t out of each and every female. any ideas as to why they are so psycho? is it an ongoing mating "dance" thats lasted more than 2 days? any ideas?

Ok I actually have an appointment to get my dog fixed in 2 weeks. I recently found her on the side of the road lonely and hungry. Well In the past week she has went into heat. My lovely husband (will I was at work) let her outside to use the restroom while he was still inside. When he went out together she had locked up with another dog. Since she was in heat how likely is it that she is pregnant?

so many dogs, especially small breeds have horrible teeth, and are often in alot of pain, and this goes unnoticed by the owners. please have your dogs teeth cleaned once a year!! open your dogs mouth and look at the teeth, esp. back molars. dogs can die from infections and abcess teeth. also dont let your dog get matted! if you have a dog that requires grooming please get it done every 4-8 weeks. so many people that have money just let their dogs get in horrible condition, it is really freaking sad.

Is there any difference between Frontline Plus for cats and Frontline Plus for dogs. I bought 3 doses for my cat and treated him, but I would like to treat my two dogs and I don't have any for dogs. It's not cheap to buy and instead of buying more can I just use the cat medicine on my dogs?
