My dog likes to chew fast and run around after he's finish eating.. which results in vomiting-alot. I've had him for about 2 months and so far he has vomited 5 times. It's nothing serious right?

It could be because he doesn't take time to swallow his food good,If this is a puppy I would have him checked for worms. As long as he is eating and drinking he should be OK as long as there are no worms.

Like everyone's said, the best thing to do is to go check it out with your vet. With the little information I know about your dog, vomiting 5 times in 2 months does not seem like a lot. I have two dogs of my own, and they vomit every once in a while. I think it's normal in dogs, and especially in puppies.

When he eats and for about half an hour after, try to keep him calm and relaxed. Depending upon the breed of dog, when he gets older, if he eats and runs like a maniac he could twist his stomach and intestines (gastric toersion) which will result in surgery.
Best thing is to put him in a small place like a kitchen and let him eat without allowing the crazy running like pups do.
I really wouldn't worry about the vomiting right now. Just try to keep him calmer. If it does persist without the running, contact the Vet.
Hope I helped

Probably not anything serious. He may be concerned about his food being taken away which makes him eat fast. Try feeding him in a large crate or kennel, or giving him a small quiet area without distraction to himself while he eats. That may slow his eating down. If you keep having problems call a vet for suggestions.

EATING ALOT OF FOOD REALLY FAST AND THEN BEING ACTIVE IS HOW DOGS GET BLOAT,
IT IS VERY SERIOUS. MOST DOGS DIE FROM IT WITHIN A COUPLE HOURS.
DEEP CHESTED DOGS ARE MORE PRONE TO BLOAT. MIX THEIR FOOD WITH SOME WATER EVERYTIME YOU FEED THEM.FEED SMALL AMOUNTS TWO OR THREE TIMES A DAY AND TEACH THEM TO SIT AND BE CALM AFTER EATING.
VOMITING ALOT CAN CAUSE DEHYDRATION
LET YOUR DOGS RUN AROUND AND GET OUT THEIR ENERGY BEFORE EATING OR AT LEAST AN HOUR OR MORE AFTER.

Vomiting is a warning signal for so many other things. Parvo or intestenal blockage, and poisoning . take him to the vet soon. If it really eating to fast feed him small meals and crate him afterwards till he learns. Take him to vet for a check first.

Yeah, it's serious. The dog is either sick, had too much food, or the food is too old(bad). Another reason is that the dog has bad water. Trust me I have four dogs! Go to a vet soon. It isn't an emergency but you might need suggestions on how to take care of your pet.

this may seem like a silly way to correct the problem, but, it works. A vet told me one when my puppy was eating too fast to get a large stone like a smooth river rock and place it over the food if its dry food it makes them work for the food and causes them to eat slower then as they get older they get used to eating slower. also you may have him checked for worms

YOU DON'T MENTION THE BREED OF PUPPY YOU HAVE. PUGS & Boston terriers (PUPPIES), WILL DO THIS IF EATTING OR DRINKING FAST SOMETIMES.
TO MUCH UPCHUCKING ISN'T GOOD FOR A PUPPY.
I"M SURE YOU MUST HAVE A UPCOMING VET VISIT FOR YOUR PUPPY FOR SOME SHOTS/WORMING.
YOU NEED TO BRING THIS TO YOUR VETS ATTENTION.
