We just got a 10 week old Beagle and don't know when he should be neutered...thanks for your help!

I don't think that the breed is really important I am pretty sure that 6 months is the earliest any vet will spay or neuter a dog.

Some vets will do it at 2 months, so in that case he is ready. I do not agree with this early neutering tho. I think 5-6 months is the best time.

Most vets will not do the surgery, untill they are 6 months old. Hope this helps. enjoy your puppy.

I dont actually know but for my dog it had to be 3 months i think... if u call a vet place they can tell ya

Around 6 months.

Too early, no good. If you wait too long he will start to mark. Nasty.
