Parrot toys would be good. Maybe some hanging bells and bird perches? Paper towel tubes work well too. If you want a wheel, make sure it a 15 inch one.

The best toy for a chinchilla is a dust bath. They also like to burrow so, any type of a tunnel network would work.

Go to your local pet shop, they have alot of entertainment toys. My boyfriend chinchilla past away recently, it was very sad. You get attached to them, like if it was your baby or something.

My chin loves Chubes. It seems pricy but its worth it. He loves to hide in it and such. its his favorite thing and he gets angry if i forget to put it in after a cage cleaning. I dont like toilet paper rolls since it may hold germs and is paper (which isnt good for any animal if swallowed)
I wouldnt use dust bath as a toy...since if they poo in it....it can make them sick

Different size cardboard boxes. They like to climb and jump.
Get cat grass and mint in little containers. They might like that.

When I had one I gave it a hamster ball and let it roam the house in the hamster ball. She LOVED IT!
