Is there any difference between Frontline Plus for cats and Frontline Plus for dogs. I bought 3 doses for my cat and treated him, but I would like to treat my two dogs and I don't have any for dogs. It's not cheap to buy and instead of buying more can I just use the cat medicine on my dogs?

please call and ask your vet before you try it. I know that the medicine is specifically for a certain weight. If you give them too much it can kill them. That's how strong it is. If you don't give them enough, it won't work- then you wasted it. Please ask first to save your pet!

I've have heard and read some where that switching between the meds can have an adverse reactions. Like chemical burns on us,
to just a mild irritation.
I'd buy the other stuff.

I watched an episode of Emergency Vets on Animal Planet about 3 weeks ago where somebody did that exact thing. Their dog died.

There is a difference - don't dose the dogs with it. I can suggest using BIO-SPOT. I've used it and it works. It's available at shops like Petco and PetSmart.
