i am buying a L-sized female dog. before i get though i want to make sure i have all the supplies. can you tell me EVERYTHING i need before i get this dog (like a leash toy etc.)?

My dog is not probably gonna live through this night. It's kinda out and convulstions are soon to begin.
I'm acting stupid to write this but what should I do... like, is it common to bury dogs or to burn them after death? What is prefered?

Also, it's a female american cockerspaniel and it's 12 years and three months now. It's a few months before the average life expectancy which I could find in some site, but still, do you think it's normal?

By the way: it would be better if you didn't write stuff like 'why did you eat your dog?' like I saw on the other thread here. It's kinda funny, but not in those conditions.
I didn't eat it. It's just dieing. :/

i had a mut that was so cute i named her olivia. but she had the funkiest fart i had every,every smelled in this world. and the bad part about it is that she loved to sleep under my bed!
the horror! the absolute horror of it all...being awakend from a dead sleep to the smell of olivia's gas!

Shadow is a mutt (lab mix). He'll be 10 in December. He's had skin issues since winter. I just took him to the vet on Friday because he was very lethargic and wouldn't eat. They drew blood and said his thyroid is very low. We'll start his meds tonite. I'm just wondering why he won't eat. I tried everything from warm water on his food to hand feeding him. He acts like it hurts. He's been drinking tons of water. I did finally get him to eat some chicken noodle soup yesterday. Any ideas? Thanks!

i have two cats and 4 new kitties. my house is very small and the poopy smell travels throughout the house. what is a good cat liter for multi cats that help with the cat smell. i don't want to put them outside because the kitties are still young and i do clean the box every morning but i need something else. i'm really sick of my husband complaining and just want the smell to go away.

Ok so my friend moved out of his rented house into his parents house, whre he couldnt bring his cat with him...so my finace and I go the cat (along w/ the one we already have) How long is to long for him to get his cat back, he says he wants it back, but we have grown to love it, and our other cat has a friend now...what do you think...i think the cat should be ours, its been more then 2 months now

so many news articles about pit bulls killing children and old people. They are being out lawed in most of the cities around where I live. Why would any one want a dog like this??

Saturday afternoon, me and my boyfriend found three stray newborn kittens. The mom never came back, and we took them in to protect them from the rain, the rat poison the city was putting out, and because they looked malnourished. We've been feeding them, just bathed them yesterday, picked off their fleas--just taking care of them.

But here's the thing: we're dog people. I already have a German Shepherd/Collie mix and I need to take in my sister's mini pincher this week for a long term stay. The idea of having 5 animals to look after seems a bit overwhelming.

Me and my boyfriend think the best thing to do is to take the kittens to a no-kill shelter, but I feel so guilty about it. I'm beginning to wonder if we should have took them in or left them outside, and I'm scared about the quality of care at any shelter. I feel so responsible for them so I don't know if we should try to keep them.

What do you guys think? I'm really struggling with this one--emotionally

A friend of mine is really into penguins and I was hoping to find someone here in Phoenix that might have access to one so I could surprise her on her birthday to see one up close in person. Short of going to Sea World in San Diego, I might be out of luck but I thought I'd ask anyway.

I was on vacation when my dog walker was out with my German Shepard, Tyson. A car went by and a Golden Retriever jumped out of the backseat window, and attacked Tyson and the walker. After the walker broke up the fight, the guy in the car claimed my dog to be dangerous - since it whooped his dog pretty bad apparently. However, I was on vacation and had to deal with a lot of nonesense over the phone because of this ordeal. The walker had to receive medical attention and Tyson was quarantined. I personally don't have any bills, but a ticket since Tyson was barking outside too long (because of the quarantine, he's an indoor dog) for $50. More than likely that complaint was filed by the Retrievers owners as they turned out to live up the street from me.

I seriously had a real pain on all 10 days of my vacation because of this and would like to sue for some type of compensation.

Does anyone know how would go about doing this? Where do I start? What do I file it as? Thanks in advance.

It seems everytime I go to the vet for one thing they are ALWAYS talking me into another shot for my dog or another pill. I just want to get what my dogs needs.................does she really need all those shots?
