My daughter would like to find a friend-a cute american cocker spaniel or labrador retriever puppy.Maybe somebody can be nice and give her a small doggy?We would apriciate that.

he is getting white spots and reddish ones to white foam around his mouth and he sits on his rock and looks up with his mouth open gasping 4 air he wont eat out of my hand any more and it seem like he is weak please please please someone tell me whats wrong

I am taking my kitty to get spayed on Thursday. They give her pain medication, and the procedure is done by lasers, so she can come home that day. I was wondering if she will be mad being at the vet's all day, and what will she act like after it's done? I want her to be healthy, and not go into heat so much!

I have two kittens and a full grown cat who are finally beginning to get along- the new problem is that one of the kittens is a PIG! He tries to steal everyone's food right off of their plates- we tell him "NO" firmly and put him back on the floor (because at this point he's almost in our plates)- we do this regularly while eating and preparing food- he hasn't gotten any better- I've heard that some people use a spray bottle of water for disciplining their cats- but I don't know if this is a reasonable way to reprimand him or if it is just plain mean- I don't want to give him too harsh of a punishment that he doesn't deserve- please let me know what you think (is this mean or should I do it?)

I've been feeding my dog Canidae, it was good, but he has allergies and Canidae has a lot of different ingredients. I changed to eagle pack (fish), to isolate some ingredients and he was doing good. He's been getting itchy again.

Recently I went on vacation and his caretaker gave him pedigree because she ran outta the food I gave her. I picked him up yesterday and she told me she had to buy some food. I had a bad feeling about feeding him something different. So he could be itchy because of the pedigree or he could have developed allergies from the eagle pack.

My dogs and cats have fleas and we have used Frontline on them and that doesn't seem to be working. Is there any other remedy out there that can kill fleas on the animals?

My dog was just diagnosed has having a torn ACL and needs surgery. However, being a beagle/basset mix, weighing in at 43 pounds, he needs to loose weight first. The vet put him on a strict reduced calorie diet and gave him some Rimadyl for 10 days. Surgery to be within 2 months, but after he loses 10 pounds. Anyone have any suggestions, besides to 2 cups of high protein diet dog food, no treats, no people food of how to crash diet a dog? He really can't excersise having the one bad leg. Also, she didn't give any suggestions for treating this injury before the surgery. He sometimes limps in the leg and sometimes lifts it up. Thank you so much in advance for all your answers!

My mom and my brother are allergic to cats. I'm planning on getting a cat, but i need a way of keeping them from having to much of an allergic reaction. I asked this question before but everyone told me not to get one, I'm looking for ways to reduce the dander, not advice on wether i should get a cat or not.

I have an old female cat. She is very tolerant. I found the perfect cat but she is already 3 years old. My old cat can come and go as she pleases but this cat would be totally indoors. Do you think they could get along?
