Use CapStar (a pill). The pill will kill all fleas on the animal in 24 hours.
Then wash them in Dawn dish detergent. Wet, sit for 5 minutes, rinse, repeat if necessary.
Then wait TWO DAYS and put the Frontline back on. You have to wait two days or run the risk of chemical burn. Depending on where you live, Frontline Plus might be better. I live in the South and regular Frontline does not work down here. If Frontline/Frontline Plus doesn't work...try Advantage. I've never heard of Frontline/Frontline Plus not working though. I have heard of Advantage not working on some pets.

When I rescue dogs or cats the best thing I have ever been told about fleas. Is DAWN liquid soap. It not only kills the fleas on the animal but it is a cheap way. It is AWESOME!!! So if they have fleas now that means they are in your house, if you use one of those carpet cleaners flea powders those work great and then follow it up with a really good steam clean. But keep the animals out of the area. Right now since summer is over you can find all the pesticides on sale so you could find yard spray. Home Depot or Lowes would be good for that. As far as the after math after you have done all that. You have to wait 24 hours after you bathe your animals to try and use front-line again. It really does work. But what you have is infestation and that is what I would do. But really the strongest DAWN you can find I use the Citrus one, I can not believe how it really does kill fleas. I love it!!! Good luck!!

Here are a few natural remedies. Vacuum your house daily for at least 2 weeks. You will need to replace the vacuum bag daily. Wash your animals in Dawn Dish Washing Liquid, fleas hate that for some reason. Get a bowl of soapy water and a desk light, position the light so it is over the water, fleas will jump into the water and drown. Give you dog a clove of garlic daily or a garlic pill. Place cedar scented moth balls around the house. Some other things would be to sprinkle Borax on the floor then vacuum. I would avoid Frontline and Advantage, I have heard that they can cause kidney damage. Good luck.

You need to have your house bombed. Take the dogs and cats to a vet to have them flea dipped. While they are there you need to either bomb the house yourself or have a professional do it. You will also need to treat the yard. There are products at the pet store for the yard. After that you need to vacuum every day and it wouldn't hurt to bomb the house in another week or two. I know it sounds like a lot but the fleas will just keep coming back if you don't take care of them now. You will also need to treat the animals with a once a month flea treatment to keep the fleas away. Good luck!!
Don't use flea collars because they don't work for crap and can cause severe allergic reactions in your pets.

Frontline is a great product but it's somtimes doesn't work if your animal is already infested. You need to have all your animals dipped in flea control contatc your local groomer/vet for help with that. You also need to bomb your home to kill all the eggs, larvae, and adults living in your carpets, and bedding. You need to wash in hot water everything. Towels, sheets, comforters and pet bedding. You also need to have a exterminator spray your yard to kill any fleas outside and heck it might kill some other gross things too. We had a very big problem with fleas our vet told us to do all these things and we and the dogs are now more comfortable. I know how much it sucks to live with fleas, Good luck

i agree with GPcrazy but make sure that if you change the flea drop brand or anything that you don't over do it ....otherwise you would be making a trip to the vet due to a type of poisoning ..sort of like a human overdosing on medication...it would be the same thing....just because it goes on the skin does not mean that is where it stays...also if certain stuff is mixed with another type they can react badly to each other ..when i was growning up we had a puppy from a pound and it was full of fleas and we thought to give it a dip and put drops on and when those things didn't work then we did more things...all of a sudden that puppy couldn't walk or eat and it couldn't control its bowel movements and she was rushed to a vet and that is what we were told....so just be careful on what you do and how you do it..talk to somebody who knows

Are you pets indoor or outdoor pets? If they are outdoor pets you are fighting a loosing battle. Frontline works. However you also have to have your vet recommend what to use in your house (furniture, rugs, pets beds) and probably something for your yard. Flea collars do not work and are toxic to pets! those fleas are laying eggs like crazy and they will hatch. Do not let this go untreated, fleas cause heartworms.

I use it on my dog and cat and have had no fleas for years. Check with your vet, I think there is another kind along the same order that may work better for you. I wish you luck. It is very hard to break the cycle.

You probably need to treat the yard first. the frontline only stops the fleas after they bite the animal.it doesnt prevent them from jumping on them. so the animals are probably just bringing them in and getting more each time they go outside
