i want to know if dachshunds (the exact style is called"piebald") arte hypo allergenic or if the shed cause i wanna get one but i dont want it to shed or for it to be an allergenic dog

Yes, short-coated Dachshunds shed. They have short, coarse hair that tends to stick to clothes & furniture & vacuum off fairly easily, though. Not the soft, float in the air undercoat you get from a dog like a Golden Retriever. There are 3 different coat type of Dachshunds (Short, Long & Wirehaired) and 2 sizes (Miniature & Standard). Piebald is a color variety.

A hypo allergenic DOG??? Your kidding right. My god that's the funniest thing I have ever heard!! Dachshunds SHED! EVERYTHING WITH HAIR SHEDS!!! Side note, Dachshunds are VERY stubborn and are not for novice owners/trainers I hope you do some research before you get any kind of pet.

Piebald is a color...And all dogs shed, no matter what they are..some less than others. You probably shouldn't get a dog if you don't want it to shed or are afraid of being allergic to it..Its not gonna work..Please research dogs more before you get one....

I have severe allergies and had one. As long as you keep them bathed, you should be fine.
