my botch rejected her puppies after having a c section, we have handreared them from birth , they are happy and healthy, and have seen the vet on a few occasions for check ups but they have started doing poohs that are too big and seem to hurt them a little i put olive oil just in the edge of there bums and it helps but i cant keep doing that, i just want something to soften there pooh any suggestions would be great thanks they are on welpi puppy milk dont know if this is causing it bhut the vet just says fetch them through and doesnt help them

I have had my dog for a year and a half now. She is really sweet, and loves other animals. I decided yesterday to get a kitten. She is the runt of the group, so she is small, but 7 weeks. So far she has hissed and boxed at my dog when she has come near. I can tell she is curious about the dog, but not sure yet what to do. Is there anything that I can do to merge the two together. I really want them to get along, especially since I want my dog to finally have a friend. Any suggestions?

She had fleas this summer and we had her on Frontline so the flea problem isn't bad now... but while she had the fleas, she scratched herself so much that she caused herself to bleed in many different places. Now, she licks and picks at the wounds so much that she isn't giving them a chance to heal, and the irritation is also causing her to lose her fur. She looks scraggly and abandoned, or even worse, abused. How can I make these wounds go away?

i just sucked up 1 of those huge spiders with the vacuum cleaner, it's 1 with a bag that the dust and stuff gets collected in. i was wondering if spiders die in there or can they escape and climb out again?

first my hermit crab is very active buy from pet store but after some time my hermit crab become not active as usual already i want to know why? besides that my hermit crab aslways come out quarter of his body and don move anymore, after some time there only it move and walking around then still come out quarter of his body out and don move anymore. last time when go near him it will withdraw inside back its shell quickly and its body all withdraw back but now i go near him it will withdraw but only a pair of eye withdraw its leg and claw still hang outside its shell. why my hermit crab always come out quarter of his body and don want to move much are him going to molt or die. please tell me as soon as possible thank you.............

my distrught former neighbor just rang me up - her cat has come in with a bad limp and what looks like a broken tail. Suspects the cat was hit by a car. She wanted to know what to do. Of course I told her to bring the cat to the vet ASAP. But she has absolutely no money. I gave her two vet names and told her that she might talk one of them into allowing her to pay over a period of time. Most vets do that, right - out of common Christian (and animal lover) charity?

Ok, yesterday, i bought one of those yellow mollies which is pregnant and is about to blow. In a separate tank with a filter and heater, I have 13 baby guppies. And in my big community tank i have 1 pregnant guppy and black molly...I love breeding them and seeing the babies grow. I have a 97 liter tank (about 20 gallons) and i am willing to keep some of the guppy, molly, and yellow molly babies. If a lot will survive, what could i do with them cause i can't have like 30 babies! I dont really like giving them to petstores and none of my friends have an aquarium...what should i do with them?...i guess maybe i should put them in a GOOD petstore which actually takes care of their fish? should i? what do you think?

I just got a couple of livebearer fish yesterday and aimmediately put what looks like a very pregnant female in a breeding net. This morning...still no signs of babies. She is a livebearer, bright yellow, and looks like a big molly...what is this type of livebearer fish called? How long should i leave her in the breeding net because i don't want to stress her out? (the net is pretty big) and also, i dont see a very visible gravid spot on her but she is, on the other hand, eXtremely fat and was the fatest out all the fish in that aquarium i chose her from....so she is pregnant right?

one of my cats likes to sharpen his nails on the carpet, even though i have provided scratching posts (of wood, of rope, of cardboard, of carpet... pheeewww). Everytime i catch him at it - or just beginning to do it on the carpet, I spray airfresher in the air a few feet from him and he stops. But he goes back to doing it when i am not alert... am afraid he'll ruin brand new carpet and i will have to fork out loads of money to replace it when i move out! Help! Somebody? Serious answers only please... i love my cat and he's good anywise - just this peculiar perk.

I have a 5 y/o Sun Conure that I have had for about 4 months. I have never had any problems with him, we have bonded very well. Out of nowhere this week he has literally attacked my hand and brought blood 5 different times. Before and after he attacks he starts making all of the noises he can make he starts saying buhbye, hello, buhbye, doing his telephone noise, and any other noise he can make repeatedly, and acting scared! He never acted this weird even when I first got him. It has primarily been happening when I ask him to step up when he is on my chest or something, never when he is on his cage, a chair etc. I'm really getting frustrated cause I don't want to be scared of him but he has taken huge chunks of skin from me! He is taking treats and other than that acting normally. The only thing different is I recently did an overhaul and dejunked my room, it's starting to get darker earlier, and it looks like he's having a small late season molt. Is this the problem?? HELP??!!!
