it is about hamster cages as about religion;
(virtual) wars are fought over which is the best, but the actual followers, the hamsters hardly ever get asked, what THEY'd like.
(Syrian) hamsters live in desert areas, so there is no question that they can climb there; actually, a hamster who gets enough freedom of running around will *not* climb in her/his cage, even the nicest wire cage. they live however in burrows, and if the hamster has the possibility to choose a "bedroom" that can be accessed thru a tunnel, s/he most likely will; providing a few feet of tubes to your hamster is probably a good idea;
also, providing the hamster a 6 by 8 inch container (2 to 3 deep) filled with sand will bring up in the animal digging instincts.
in their natural habitat, hamsters run several miles every night, to collect their food; even though they most of the time have only a few inches to go, to get all the food they'd ever need, they still like to run; for hours *NO* cage will be big respectively good enough. letting your hamster out of his cage to run around some, explorer closets and the like AND adding a wheel in the cage are paramount.

A hamster cage has have been given to have a roof - your hamster can easily climb out of the cage in spite of its intensity, it is going to use the bars as a ladder. the terrific style of cage is one that incorporates diverse ranges and structures, tunnels for the too conceal in, a wheel is considerable for exercising and in simple terms frequently a cage with sufficient space for them to run around in. you additionally can purchase stable variations to hamster cages in any puppy shops - you should purchase them issues that dangle from the ceiling inclusive of hammocks or putting residences - I had one for my hamster and it genuinely loves it, even with the reality that it tended to chew it plenty. in simple terms supply it different issues to play with in there and it is going to likely be wonderful :)

I like wire ones better, so they can climb if they want... just be ready for shavings spreading. It should be at least a cubic foot, but probably more.
