who else hates to see ur dog in discomfort? i bathe my dog once a month, but he has extremely sensitive skin, and even though i use johnson's baby shampoo, he still occasionally breaks out after i bathe him, and i can tell it itches him a few days after until it dissipates. the only thing i can do to ease the pain for a little while is i rub his back and his sides where the bumps are, and he really appreciates it......but dont u hate to see your dog in pain and know you cant really do anything for them

My Shih-Tzu is 13 years old, he is deaf and can't hear us if we get mad at him...we've tried everything I can think of to make him stop he does it while we are sleeping or out. We got him from a shelter 5 years ago and on his history write up at the shelter, his former owners said it was because of his going bathroom indoors he was given up. He's a great dog, except for this one thing. I don't know how to make him stop...any ideas would be great thanks!

For about a year now, my dog has nibbled on his back two legs. First he'll nibble on a leg (never two at once) and I never notice it until he's licking it like crazy. He nibbles so much that he clears the area from fur and it starts to turn a little whiteish because hes getting down to his skin. If i put my hand or finger in between his mouth and leg while he's nibbling, he starts whining and snapping at my hand. After about a minute or so he'll stop doing it. He does it whenever he comes in from outside. After a week, he wont bite down on his leg for a while. He's a two year old min-pin. Sorry if this doesn't make any sense i've tried to explain it the best that I could. Now, the question is 1)Why could he be doing this
2)Anyone elses dogs do this?

My cat catches them and brings them in at night. It's funny as hell to watch him play with them, I was just wondering what they are called?

I have four parakeets and have had them for around 3 years. They have been in my room for about the past two years but just recently (past few months) they have started singing or squawking late at night.

I am woken up numerous times (probably close to 10 times) a night and then can't get them to shut up. I have a cover for their cage at night and when I'm asleep all the lights are off so it's very dark.

Why have they just started this recently and what can I do to change it?

I have 2 cats and 1 of them is sick with furballs. I have tried the appropriate cat food but this doesn't work. I brush her regularly too but again this is no good.

I wanted to fill the bottom with just marbles, but its taking a while, should I buy some gravel to put on the bottom to hold the plants up and then layer the top with marbles instead so that way I don't have to spend so much on marbles? How big of a bag of gravel would I need for a 10gal aquarium?

I have a chow mix and he started getting aggresive with the Cats and people in the house. He really does that to my grandson at 3.I am not sure what to do. My vet said to have her put to sleep and I do not want to do that. She bit my grandson on the forhead on Thursday. I just do not want any one to get hurt. Can some one tell me if there is a way to train her so she does not continue. Last night she even snapped at me.

I have tried to be really good about not leaving shoes around but he has jumped up on things nad climbed under the bed to get my shoes. He doesn't chew my husband's shoes (which are all over the house). He has plenty of chew toys and we give him carrots to help with teething. I have tried the "bait and switch" but it doesn't work. The moment he catches me slipping...i have lost another pair of shoes.

Do they ever just grow out of it? I have lost 6 pairs...
