Nope but scratching posts are really cheap. Go to Walmart or something.

If you have a local recycling center, like at a supermarket where you can put recycles in by yourself at any given time, look in the cardboard container. Try to get the heaviest cardboard. Big cardboard chunks, maybe 2 inches thick that you usually find inside packaging. You might have to go a few times to find. Cut it up if you have to and glue these strips together. Regular Elmer's. You can rub catnip, but my cats don't even care if catnip on it. They scratch it every single day, sleep on it.

If you think you might cut yourself doing this, then maybe go buy one in the store. It just seems they don't last as long (thinner cardboard) and they want so much money (8-10 dollars) for cardboard glued together.

I would probably go spring for a new one, since most cats won't touch one that has been used by a previous cat. I had a used one that I threw out for that reason.

make one, it isn't hard. All u do have to do is go get some ply wood, and a post and nail the wood to the post. now cover all with carpet and secure with adhesive, much cheaper than buying one
