If you love your cat don't put it in a freeking cat show. If i was a cat and I was put in a cat show for my owners entertainment, i would take a rubber house and beat you with it. Don't make do that to your cat or it WILL beat you with a rubber hose or it will hate you.

www.cfainc.org is the major cat registry organization that sponsors cat shows in the USA. This website has information on breeds, breed clubs, and cat shows & events. I suggest you get in touch with someone in a local Persian cat club for help, also.

Yeah check out www.cfa.org on where shows are.
Whether you cat will like being shown is something only you and she can figure out. Does she have "show Personality"? If she doesn't mind traveling (does she like the car?" ) likes to meet new people, (or runs and hides) and can tolerate noise. (or is a scardy cat) only you know. If she is a calm out going cat, go for it. If she is an anxiety ridden shedding mess you aren't going to win anything anyway.

Where do you live? All the major cities: NY, LA, Chicago, Atlanta, Washington, etc. have major shows, but you'd have to have the proper papers/registration, lineage and other "rules" (like winning more "local" shows country/worldwide); otherwise, I think it would just be rare, local shows.... Hey, why not start your own show(s)....could make you some $$$ even though it's hard work, it's very rewarding and fun!

There are several cat associations that hold shows all over.
CFA and TICA are the largest. If you go to their web sites they have show schedules.
