That's always so difficult, isn't it. :-) If it is a pair, you might consider some of the great lovers like Romeo and Juliet or Frankie and Johnny. What about Tristan and Isolde?

I am fond of watching the cat and naming it based on what it reminds me of.

For instance I have four cats.

Carmen was named because she would come running to the tv whenever "Where In The World Is Carmen San Diego" came on.

BJ is named for the song "Mr. Bojangles" because he has socks and he dances a bit.

Houdini got his name by making money disappear the day we picked him up. He'd hurt his paw and we had to go to the emergency vet.

Zachary was named by my partner because we had two other Z - named cats!

I just highly recommend that you THINK about what you will sound like if you have to call your cat outside.

Consider my friend who was given a dog and named him Freebie. Now imagine you are wandering your neighborhood calling the dog!

When I name my kitties, I do it by either personality or how they look. I have a tuxedo cat (black with white bib in front, white tummy and white paws. I almost named her Mischief, for obvious reasons, but settled on Mittens, because of the paws.My other cat's name is Bonnie, because she's a beautiful tabby. I have a friend whose cat is named Pretzel, because she can twist her body into seemingly impossible positions. Another has a cat named Blanca, because she's white.

well i named my kitty benny cuz all my other pets were kinda named after money ( ben franklin teehee) but i really only call him lyk sweetie pie or kitty or some cutsie names anyway so think about what you would call him/her when ur alone and with other ppl

My five cats have come to me. I did not choose them. They chose me. My first cat was found about 4 weeks old sick and the vet said she had 50-50 chance of living. She is 3 now and her name is NUSH. Then I have TILLY BUD female cat she turned up in my garden and decided to stay. Then I have MACEY who came to me when she was pregnant. She only came to me for feeding and then one day she came with two kittens about 8 weeks old. She left them with me and went off. I named her kittens EMMA because she is grey like a mackeral and has a large M shaped on her head. And the boy kitten I called KORKY.

I am happy to say MACEY came back for feeding but unfortunately she has had more kittens. Once she has finished feeding them I am going to take her to the vets to be doctored.

My Siamese is named Pyewacket. It was taken from an old 50's movie called Bell, book and candle. The cat in the movie was the witches familiar, his name was pyewacket...

my friend has a cat and her name is peaches . She's a light orange. Bella means beautiful in italian thats cute for a girl.
