Pets - 11 August 2006

When I take her to the vet they give her antibiotics and she gets better then it comes right back.Could she be allergic to her food? Is there a dog food for dogs with allergies?I have been to 2 different vets and spent hundreds of dollars and she is not any better.I am not sure what else to do.

I went to the pet store yesterday and for some reason the person who was in charge of the fish did not want me to buy any guppy feeder fish he said the oscar and parrot ate good last night so they will be fine until Tuesday. Thats when they get their shipment in of Guppys. I think he wanted to take the guppys home for himself because there were only about 20 left.

I have a 4 months old male cat and he has never been very lovey. He always did his own thing. But now all of the sudden he's following me everywhere and he's constantly purring and rubbing his body on my leg or my face and sticks his butt in my face. And he smells very weird. Are those the first signs that he's starting to get "hot"? He's not neutered yet. Our vet said we have time till he's 5 months old.

I want a smaller bird like a zebra finch parakeet or canary. What kind is nice and sings beautifuly, also who desn't need to be held as often. What are the prices for each at the petstore? And which ones breed easily?

My new dog is a yorkie and shnauzzer mix. He is a boy and I'm pretty sure that he is a puppy still. My neighbor found him whiel walking her dog and decided that we would be a good family to raise him. He is very lovable and playfull and loves to be around people. Please help me find a new name for my puppy. Thanks!

I have a 5 month old boy kitten and I woke up this morning and there was cat poop that looked like it was being rubbed off of his behind. The trail went into 4 rooms (luckily all hardwood) but it to forever to clean up.
He has never done this before since I've gotten him, but then again we just got him last Sunday. and he has used the litter box a lot until this. Also he is not nutered yet.
Is this a problem I should be worried about or could it be something else, if so what?

mine are strictly indoor cats for numerous reasons. my female is scared to death to go outside, she runs when anybody opens the doors to outside. my male kitten just looks out there when the doors open and then walks away to go take a nap. so my cats are perfectly happy staying indoors and they will remain that way. oh, and cats CAN NOT fend for themselves and they don't need "fresh air" or to "roam". so what are yours? just curious?
