I chose a rabbit over a small parrot. I like to go away on weekends and I felt that the bird would not forgive me for constantly leaving it alone.

Personally I like a rabbit better, but it is up to each individuals likes and dislikes as to their opinion. I found that birds are too mess y with their food like scratching it out of the cage but that could have been my faultt. I can take a water hose and hose down the cages every day and keep the cages very clean. I can not stand to see a rabbit in a filthy poop and fur cage and it is not healty either. I hardly ever lose a rabbit because we take very good care of our rabbits and make sure their house is cool in this hot weather and give them plenty of clean cool water thru out the day. I love my rabbits.

Bird r much more better.Because they sing very well and listen to us.They can even help us to send messages like how olden days ppl does it.Rabbits r cute too but u will have trouble in looking after them.
