They'll prefer the frozen ones, mine wouldn't touch the freeze-dried stuff. Frozen worms have more nutrients and stuff too, good for the little froggies. Also, be sure to feed them every day.

Also, don't just drop the little square in the water, it'll just sink. I would hold it in the water and wave it around, let it seperate. My frogs would come up and eat at it from my fingers (which was really cool.)

They're ok, but you should be supplementing their diet with other foods. I feed my 3 ADFs freeze-dried bloodworms and tubifex worms, as well as HBH Frog and Tadpole Bites. They don't seem too fond of brine shrimp, though.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can make your own food. I've done this using a dozen nightcrawlers and two dozen mealworms. I boiled them (breathe through your mouth - it smells downright unholy!) for about five minutes to kill any bad bacteria. Threw them in a blender with a couple pieces of cooked pasta and some thawed frozen spinach. Blend it really good. Add tank water as needed to adjust the consistency. Put it in a baggie and freeze it until solid. Then you can break off chunks as needed. Your frogs (and your fish if you have them, too) will go NUTS over it.

Ask a biologist at any college close to you. If it is not any longer accessible, have you ever Googled "African Dwarf Frogs"? extra effective yet a library (shop in ideas libraries?) likely has a e book on frogs.

I'm not sure if it's ok. But if it is, I wish I had known that when I had one. We had live crickets and boy do those things keep producing and how do they get out of an aquarium with good screen top is beyond me. They were everywhere. I eventually got rid of them and the frog.

I ALWAYS FED MINE THE FROZEN ONES BUT I WOULDN'T THINK THAT THERE WOULD BE THAT MUCH DIFFERENCE. ESPECIALLY THAT THEY ARE FROGS.
