i have one older female cat that is 9 years old. we just got another female cat 1.5 years old. the older female is hissing and growling at the younger one. the younger one is doing the same. i did not seperate them because there is only one litter box. the younger cat sits under the couch and can't come out because of the older cat. should i wait for them to become friends or should i seperate them? please help

my two girl mixed breed dogs just had a litter of puppies.we have 12 puppies and they are completely winged. and we have found a home for a couple of them but we cant afford to keep up all the puppies and our dogs. we were thinking about calling the animal control shelter to see if they could find them a home. does anyone know how long they keep them before they put them to sleep?

This is the second time my horse has gotten an abscess on his face. His face gets really swollen and hard and has only a tiny hole where it drains. What causes this & do you have any suggestions as to caring for this? Has anyone else had this happen?

my 8 year old is a red heeler real sweet- timid and some what of a people dog. the german shepard is one and a half years old , smart, rowdy and 75lbs. shes a great people dog and real large, yet she wants to hurt other dogs, bad. they already got into it twice and my 8 year old lost bost times. i want to know if there is something i can do or should have done to get the pup to ease up on the older dog? not to hurt her and maybe submit? please help!!

Do they shed a lot, a little, or none at all? They've got that curly fur like a poodle's curly fur, so I would think that they didn't, but I could be wrong...

I have a verry small back yard that fills up with horney stray cats that sing the blues all night.
And they just drive our dogs crazey.
leting the dogs out is not an option.

have matter in it and he can't hardly open it. I checked on him a little while later and it was fine. It keeps doing this. He also seems to be opening his mouth really wide, like he is yawning,which I know that isn't what he is doing. Also, this morning, something white came out of where he goes to the bathroom, it almost looks like skin or something. I know this sounds gross but I dont know how else to describe it. He is in a cage, that is 18x 24, has lots of plants(artificial) , have the UV light, plus the heat light, but we havent needed to use it much. I am just concerned with his eye and whatever that is that is coming out of him.
Any answers will be appreciated :)

I have tried tying a brick to it and throwing it in a pool so that its head is barely above water, and then I make small waves that go over his cute sopping wet head, I have tried burying the cat up to its head and getting the weed eater and whipping one of his ears off and I accidentally whipped its nose off too, I have tried placing a golf ball on its head and swinging for a hole in one, I have tried using its exposed head as a football tee and practicing my field goal kicks, I have tried pissing on its squirming head until it gets thirsty enough to drink it up, I have put a sprinkler near its head in order to cool it down on those hot summer nights, I have sprinkled dogfood on and around his head so that our 3 legged dog benji could eat his meal and lick the cat while he's at it, I have tried putting a birthday hat on his head and smashing a cake in his face as he is meowing, I have even farted in his face and all he did was close its eyes.
