Well, GetEm, I can say that I've read the breed standard for just about every breed on the AKC site now just trying to *answer* questions... ;)

There should be a permanent link to the AKC breed page on this board.

If they are REALLY interested in their question and the information they receive they will follow through. I read all my answers and pick the best one but others who have the voters pick the best one must have lost interest shortly after they posted the question. It looks like they didn't even look at the answers...you kind of wonder. I have had some people respond to my answer with a personal answer and that is nice. Others, my gosh, have attacked my answers that were written in all due respect, they have responded by calling me names that were uncalled for. Some people are weird and must feel some need to attack others. That's the way it goes on here. Have a great day!

If more people would read some of the older questions, they also might avoid asking a repetative question:
What's the best breed?
What's a good name?
Can my dog eat chocolate?
How do I potty train my dog?
Is my dog pregnant?
The list goes on and on ...

Also, how many people give the same answer no matter what the question (as though they never read it):
See a vet.
See a vet.
See a vet.
See a vet.
Should I continue?

An i did follow up on a questions, I did go to

I think that people that go back to RATE the answer, have done the reading. But when they haven't read it, they are unlikely to go back and rate the BEST.

So after a week of no rating, you can go in and VOTE for your own. It is likely that you will WIN.

That is how you get better than 2% of BEST ANSWERS.

But when people give ME a 5 star Best Answer, I add a link to my website:

Good luck

Very few people enjoy reading, it seems.

Whenever I have a yard sale, or sit at a display table for something, there are little signs posted everywhere, and people never look at them. They ask ME instead. I suspect for many people, they prefer socialising to reading. And this Yahoo! Answers is a very social thing...

I know what u mean, I have told people certain things over and over again and i do wonder the same thing. I have learned alot of things from yahoo answers so i do take peoples advice, but not sure if everyone does.

For me it depends, if I am actually getting a good answer if not then I will rephrase the question and ask it again. But sure, if they supply a link then I will go there and find what I need.

Actually GitEmGang I do if they are help full. Sometimes they offer no help and just put you down and tell you that you are stupid and well those answer's aren't worth reading.
