How can you tell if its a phantom pregnancy or a real one?

Hello. One of my kitty's pad seems.. used.. Like.. uh.. like an old something. I thought it was normal because they use their back paws to dig, but I just noticed one of his "toes" is blackish. Is this normal? Should I take him to the vet?

He is 3 mo. old, if it helps.

He doesnt seem to act weird or anything. I've had him for three days so I dunno how long he's had that.

my mollie has ick i raised the temp and gave it medication but it looks like he has a white stuff on his eye should i try and remove it or wait a littile longer for medication to take effect

I know chicken egg from a store aren't fertile But I've been told by someone that eggs marked Organic or free range have secessfully hatched.

Is it true that eggs marked organic or free range can hatch?

I wanted to know this cause I want a chick to raise for a pet.

No jokes or wise cracks excepted.

But is this true or not?

It can walk and its eyes are opened but its only about 2 1/2 inches big. It drinks and then crys. I put it in a box and it crys itself to sleep but if it hears me walking by it crys again and it crys when its eating. Is that normal for it? does it need water? Its so tiny I think it might die but it seems to eat but not very much? I dont want to take it to the SPCA because they might kill it . They are over populated. I am just looking for advise to help this tiny kitten. It was crying in our basement for one day non-stop I herd it under the floor boards and there was no other kittens around. just the one.
