Me and my boyfriend have been thinking about buying a bird, but we have no idea what kind we'd like. We do want one that will pick up on words and that kinda thing but we dont have alott of space and we cant have one thats TOOO loud, I mean sqwaking (spck) is fine but not something thast will drive my apartment CRAZY. My budget isnt a problem, so which would you guys refer and whats good or bad about them. thanks!

Please don't jump down my throat. I love animals and all, have had dogs, have a cat now...but this is strange, so I want your opinion.

So I saw a woman walking around downtown this evening with a smallish cage (maybe a ferret could fit in it). So I was curious, and was kind of trying to see what she had. Well, it was empty, and she had a kitten draped over her shoulders (kind of like a living fur collar?). This kitten had a harness, and some sort of neck cloth, like a small bib or something. But she is just walking around with this kitten across her shoulders. My life will go on, but is she wacked, or do other people wear their pets?

He's too small to eat bugs, but he doesn't seem to be eating anything else. Maybe he could eat ants. He's really tiny and wild.

I'm looking online for fish stores ...ebay etc but I don't want to pay 30 plus dollars for it plus $25 shipping. Do you know any good places to buy fish? I would prefer to pay $10 or $20.

I don't mean show dogs who have names like Champion's Pride of Royal Velvet Fields Jumper by Day. I mean your household pets.. My two dogs are Patsy and Jack, and that's pretty much it, though I like think of Patsy as having Cline for a middle name and Jack's being Nicholosn, for who they were named after, The fish (Akbar & Dorothy) and hermit crab (Cha-cha) have no such luck. Tell me your pets' full names and you may get the ten points.
(Please no boyfriend or girlfriend name, they are not that sort of pet!).

i need a dog who is good with other dogs and strangers and children... basicly a great family pet. i am willing to socialize it and spend alot of time training it. if you dont think that it would be right what othe large dog breeds would be good besides labs and goldens( i have already looked into those and am considering them

My neighbor's dog is usually left outside for hours at a time and he howls and barks, yet still nobody ever lets him inside.
It is 11:30 PM now and he has been out for at least 2 hours already and I don't know what to do. I am not worried about the dog "disturbing the peace," I am more concerned about the dog's well being. To me, this constitutes neglect.
I cannot see into their yard to see whether he has food or water and it is not hot outside or anything, so I'm not sure if calling the Humane Society will work...(They follow up on all reports of complaints of dogs outside in the summer.)
I don't know these people either, but I am very concerned.
What can I do???
