I have two marmoset monkeys. They are both male and live in my garden. They have a shed converted into a 'monkey house' where they go to sleep at night. There is a drainpipe run from the tree to the top of the shed. They are free to come and go as they please and have a lovely life together. I supplement their feeding by giving them fortified vitamin baby food and fresh chopped fruit and other bits of food. They like small amounts of cooked chicken. But mainly they find their own food - crickets, spiders etc. They have their own set boundaries and they don't stray any further even though they could if they wanted to. I also have two dogs and five cats and they all get on well together.

I've had quite a few ferrets and I love them so much! Sadly, I don't have any right now. My most recent ferrets were named Lulu and Chomper, but we had to find a new home for them because Chomper lived up to his name when he found our pet guinea pig. Though, do field mice count as "exotic" pets? We have three of those. Plus a couple of horses.

I have 12 mice and 2 rats, but those aren't "Exotic".
I did used to have a spiny mouse though. They have a fox-like snout and bat-like ears. They are about twice the size of normal mice, and kind of look like a spiky kiwi. Their "spines" don't hurt though, they look pointier than they are.
Spiny mice require similar care as most rodents, except slightly higher protein and are sensitive to the cold (their spines don't insulate as well as fur). They are very social and tame quite easily :D
