there are electric mats that are not comfortable for dogs to walk on. put them down on the floor in front of the couch. the first few times they step on the mat they'll run away. then you can just unplug them and leave them there...they'll stay off them.

Hello Friend,
Your dog can be easily trained
Whatever your dog does in your presence, it will do exactly in your absence.
You can not allow your dog to use the couch only when you're home at your company
I would recommend that you don't let the dog on the couch while you're home.
Also may help to spray something it may not like, for example a room deodorizer, especially as you leave your home,
Good luck,
Macho

If youre really willing to work, one thing we did with puppies was always have a long line (rope is fine ) on their collar. Try to stay out of view but able to use to rope as a leash, as soon as one jumps up, yank them off.
It takes time, and you need to be very consistent or it is pointless.

It is also very important, when one of your dogs walks by the couch without jumping on it, that they get praised and rewarded in the beginning of this process.

We kennel are dogs when we are not home. I know this may sound stupid but my inlaws would put their dining room chairs on top of the couches, it worked for them.

Turn the cushions up.
Close the door to the living room.
Put wadded up newspaper and mousetraps on the sofa.
Get them their own cushy place to lay on.
