I'm looking online for fish stores ...ebay etc but I don't want to pay 30 plus dollars for it plus $25 shipping. Do you know any good places to buy fish? I would prefer to pay $10 or $20.
Looking to breed them.

5 stars afe special types of bettas that ARE expensive they are bred to fight. You can't just buy them at any old pet store

?? 5 star would refer to quality. There are competitions at fish shows of the best looking Betta. There are a number of different criteria such as perfect finage, perfect colors (no mixing of red & blue or green with red), comportment, and other points.. A perfect Betta could be said to be "5 stars".. Other than in judging, there's no such thing as a '5 star' fish, betta or otherwise.

Try Drs Foster & Smith. Then do a web search if they don't have them. I like bettas. I killed my last one. My husband is an aquarist and finds most everything he needs online and some special stores he has scoured out in the Portland Vancouver area.

wow bettas dont cost that much you can go to any pet shop make sure you knowalot about bettas befor breeding them

bettysplendens.com has some truly spectacular fish.
She also has plenty of advise on breeding. Her breeding stock is amazing!!
aquabid.com is another good one. Like ebay but for fish only.

It costs less than 50 dollars and its at petsmart. They have good explanation better than any1. Good luck
