They're not lazy, they just don't expend energy unless it's necessary... or fun. They're smarter than some humans! Don't let their laid back demeanor fool you... there's always a guard and defender resting inside.

Bull Mastiffs aren't lazy. They are bit serious and energetic. They come under the working group of dogs.

They are by no means lazy. They love walks and rides in the car - but they are content just laying next to you or laying on their backs in the grass. If you think because they prefer lounging they will not protect you or your house you are sadly mistaken.
I guess I should ask... what is your definition of lazy?

mastiff is the larger of the two breeds...

i had a mastiff...what a great dog!!!!

friendly, funny, intelligent...and i can assure you, far from lazy...

unfortunately, we lost him to inoperable cancer...but, i have many fond memories of him...

no they are not lazy. my sister owns two of them. they are very active dogs, and smart.
