Wait a little while... it takes a couple of days for the medication to do it's trick. Good to hear you've raised the temp a little. That was the other recommendation.
Don't take the fish out and physically try to remove the ick... that can do more damage to the fish than the disease itself. Patience is the best method right now.

Your fish is NOT dying, do not listm to these people.

The reason the medicine is not working is because the spot on th eye is NOT Ick!

It is Eye cloud.

Ick is a parasite, tyhe white spots you see are actaully the eggs of the parasite, the adults live in the gravel.

Eye Cloud is a fungus.

Right now, you are tryingto treat a fungus with a parasite medicine and techniques. Higher temps will do nothing to help fight fungus. That is used to help stress the parasite, but is useless for funguses.

Go to the pet store and get a fungus medicine - Ask them for something to treat Eye Cloud, and you will be fine, should start to notice they eye clearing up in 2-3 days.

Good Luck!

To the respond above - you're thoroughly stupid. And ignorant. needless to say its ick there's a threat of fungus, yet its not likely pondering each and everything grew to become into effective till he have been provided that one fish. and there is not any "rule" on what fish can bypass with what. I definitely have seen tigerbarbs with little itty bitty neon tetras and that they have been all effective !! maybe the drugs you have isn't sturdy sufficient. I additionally understand which you will desire to enhance the temperature in the tank to approximately seventy 9 or eighty, yet do not make it this extreme till your temperature is already on the threshold of this. otherwise in basic terms enhance the temps slowly so which you do not ask your self the fish. The extreme temps will kill off the ick,. and your sturdy with will proceed to exist :) EDIT - additionally to the respond above - you're soo stupid !! stop attempting to argue a factor which you have not any backup too. this is finished lack of information from YOU. And no backup isn't a stupid comeback like " nicely you reported ammonia blahblahblah " .. Thats precisely what you reported. Please bypass examine a e book on fish and bypass returned to the 1st grade and learn some sensible comebacks

don't even try to remove the ick from its eye with your hands. You will do more damage. Just be patient and the medication will take effect.

Sorry, your fish is dying. When it goes, bleach the tank & get a new fish.
