What you need to do here, is something that I just did, and it worked!
Give the young cat a bath, yes, I know it's so little- so to avoid irritating it's skin- DO NOT use any knid of pet shampoo.
When you dry the little one off, KEEP THAT SAME TOWEL.
Then immediately give the older cat a bath- you can use shampoo on this one because it's older.
When you're finished, dry off the older cat with the same towel you used for the younger cat.
What you have done here is: you have gotten rid of the "Me" smell from both cats, and given them an "Us" smell. In simple terms, it's supposed to confuse their "identity scent" and give them the impression that they are now family.
It worked for Salem & Luna. And they aren't from the same litter either. Try it, and good luck ok.

Get another litter box and separate them for awhile.....put food, water and litter in one room and only let them play under the door. Then when the older one settles down, only let the younger cat out when you can supervise closely. Gradually increase the amount of time they are in contact. If she gets aggressive have a water squirter on hand and squirt her if she gets nasty. Hissing is natural and so is growling so only do this if she attacks. My husband and I are going through the ending stages of this right now. Finally, we have relative peace in the house. We introduced a new one year old male to our 2 females and it was brawl central! Nova, the male, sleeps in his room still, but other than that, he has full roaming privileges of the house. There are still some hisses, but other than that, it's going much much better. Give it time....she will eventually warm up to the new one. My cats will all sit at the doorwall and look outside together....and I never thought we would get to this stage. Good luck!!!

I once had 5 young cats, and 1 older cat. I rescued a kitten from a cathouse and brought him to my house with those other 6 cats... and they absolutely hated him. They hissed at him all the time and would growl and refuse to be anywhere near him. Now, since 5 of those cats were young, I gave away 3 of them and the older one passed on... so I now only have 2 cats and this rescued one. But my point here is, they really hated this rescued kitten, but now they grew to really love him, and now the kitten I did keep with him, likes him more than he likes the other cat that he grew up with. Don't separate them. They just need to get used to each other and trust me, they will.

It is just a territorial thing going on between them and your older cat will more than likely win the fight... They will eventually get along and the younger one will respect her. I have a 15 year old cat and the other 11 of them are younger than her and they all know that she is the boss but she was fussy when she got interduced to her first cat.... Just let them be, the older one might swat the younger one and that is ok because she is just establishing that this is her territory. They will accept eachother in time....

I have two cats that are sisters and they still hiss at eachother because the other one wants to play and the other one does not. Soo if you got one at petsmart it will say if a kitten is good with other cats.

You should buy another litter pan OR you can put a box of litter in one room and the litter pan in the other and then there you go, or keep trying to get them to get along!!!

It will take time and you should monitor their interactions and for a while, separate them when you have to be away.

The rule for good litterbox behavior is: number of cats, plus one.
So you definitely need to provide another box if not two.

As long as they're not killing each other they should be fine. But if they start to hurt each other you should find 1 of them a new home.

Let them duke it out as long as no one gets hurt they will be fine. They are just being hormonal.
