My outside cat had kittens about 4 months ago. She was a perfect mother to them and everything. But as of lately she wants nothing to do with them. She will hiss at them if they try to come near her. I'm not sure whats wrong with her. Could she be pregnant again? Or just territorial now?

I just bought a red tailed boa (5.5 foot ) and I don't know where to find a reliable source for feeder rabbits that is reasonably close to where I live. If you know of any place close to the d.c. metropolitan area please let me know. Thanx!

Well here's the deal. My cat has very dull claws and likes to scratch at my couch a lot to sharpen them. So I had to basically hit him to stop him from ripping right through the material.

Now he won't wake up. What do I do?

I have heard that leaves from a Red Maple are poisonous once they have fallen & dried. I'm looking for a comprehensive list of plants/trees that could be potentially harmfull to our horses.

Pitbulls are now illegal in Ontario,
Residing pit bulls are grand-fathered from the ban but must be sterilized, muzzled and leashed (maximum of 1.8 meters long) in public places. Peace officers will have a right of entry without warrant to seize a dog.
I personally own a Rottwieler and I find it horrifying,...
They are euthanizing innocent 6 week old puppies because of their breed. It is an estimated 7,000 Pit Bull type dogs will be euthanized in Ontario.
I have spoken to a Toronto Animal Services officer about it, they were importing the young puppies out of Ontario yet had to stop becuase there is no where to send them.

It is really sick and has solved nothing.
Here is the thing, the responsible people are the ones who are muzzling thier dogs, the idiots who caused these problems in the first place are not even muzzling thier dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is this rooster that comes by and sleeps on my tree. He belongs to the neighbor. I was outside and he came towards me and I walked off and he started getting closer and closer towards me. When I would walk off, he would start following me so I started walking faster and he started running and pecking at my foot. It didn't hurt by what does that mean? Did he feel threathened by me? He is the one that came close to me. He chased my neice but my neice was getting really close to him but when she ran away, he would leave her alone and stop chasing her.

We live in an apartment and both of us work during the day, i've heard that it's important to crate-train a puppy, but some website says the puppy can't be in there for more than 2-3 hours. We are wondering if it's ok to just get a gate to fence off the kitchen, that way he has more room (in the kitchen) and that way we don't have to go home every 2-3 hours to let him out. This is our first puupy, please help and give us some sugguestions!!

She is a four month old doberman border collie mix and she ate like three or four of my remaining grapes in my bowl. She normally doesn't bother my food but she did this time when I walked away. What should I do for her? Will she be really sick? I read somewhere that she could die soon or get kidney failure, is this true? Help me, please! She is laying by the door and she is whining but I am afraid that if I put her outside she will get worse because of the heat!
