If the cat is calico or torti I would name her Torey, if it is black/ black and white I would name her Morgan, white I would name her snowy, orange I would name her Popsicle........I heard that cats respond better to a name that ends with an ee sound b/c when a human says the ee sound it is a higher pitch and cats respond to that better than a lower pitch.

It's always fun to name a new pet! Personally, I like to wait a couple of days and wait for them to get nice and comfy in their new home before I name them. It's nice to see there personality! I have a pure what cat and his name has nothing to do with his color, his name is Dude. Fits him to a "T".

I had a silly friend who named her all white cat Spot!
What about Blanche? (french for white)
Or since she was a gift, Cadeau? (french for gift!)

My sister just lost a cat to a dog attack last month. The kitty was pure white, and named Coconut; if you gave your kitty this name, it would be a great honor to our lost kitty, Coconut.

I would think Snowy or Marshmellow.You could try Sugar of something too.I think Diamond would really fit or Snowball.Something white of course tthough.
