I have two female mice from the same litter (i assume) the one mouse really enjoys cleaning the other mouse, but now there are little bald pacthes on the mouse from i can only assume being cleaned too much! I don't know what to do to get her to stop and for my poor mouses hair to grow back!

When smalll animals groom each other its a sign of companionship. They love grooming each other. if the mouse being groomed thought she was being groomed too much she would let the other mouse know. From where i can see it...you can't really stop it, but it may pass over after awhile.

Aww that is so cute! Maybe but some perfume on the balding mouse....try different scents until you notice the mouse doesn't want to lick anymore! How adorable! lol!

Grooming can be a sign of dominance. The one doing the grooming is the dominant one.

It can also be a sign of boredom although that's usually excessive grooming of themself.

Maybe try a larger cage or put in more toys. If it becomes a big problem then put in a mesh divider.

What kind of proteins are you feeding them? That could lead to bald patches in rodent pets as well. Too much protein can cause bald spots.
