This morning i took my dog out and his poop was a yellow, thick liquid, with some redness in it, I have'nt changed his food or anything.

when my 5 month old kitten gets a little older I'm going to buy this for his claws. it's a great alternative to use besides declawing. so please tell me if this is a good investment for my kitty. Thank You!

Ok, I've been thinking about getting a fish for my dorm because I love my pets and sadly, I cannot take them with me so I want some kind of pet in my room. Is a fish a good idea? If so what kind? My room is very small and I'm sharing with another girl so I probabaly need a small fish...something that can live happily in a small bowl.

Recently in my city the funding for a new Animal Control facility was turned down, even though not all of the commissioners were present to vote. We are getting the chance to present the issue again in August. This new shelter would save lives as currently more than 80 animals weekly are euthanized due to lack of space, animals that I know would have made excellent pets if given the chance. On the day of voting a group of volunteers will be holding a professional demonstration in front of the courthouse and we are looking for ideas for slogans that could either be put on t-shirts or on signs. Any serious ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much in advance!

I have a parakeet. Beautiful bird. His nails are growing the opposite way. Instead of curling around the perch his nails stick straight out or even up. Poor thing. I don't know what to do.

I have a two year old neutered male cat. I just brought in a new male kitten, who's only 10 weeks. They chase and bat at eachother an awful lot... are they fighting?? The older never hisses or growls or makes any sounds. The younger is a bit more testy and frequently hisses and cries and makes a lot of noise. He bats at the older if he comes near him. The older frequently pounces on the younger and knaws on him a bit... but no blood has ever been drawn. When he does this, I worry that he's hurting the younger, and I separate them. But sometimes the younger will seek out the older and pounce on him!! They have very similar personalities, both playful ougoing males. I thought this would help them get along...but now I'm worried they will always be battling for dominance...

So, are they fighting rather than playing? If they're fighting, should I separate them? Currently, I leave them together during the day while I'm at work because the kitten gets lonely VERY easily...

I live in the inner city, and it's impossible to find hay. I have three house rabbits, but until now, they've just been happy eating cardboard. Something tells me this isn't the best substitute for the hay that they need in their diets... What should I be giving them instead?

My Pommerainian just came out of her first heat last week. I have a Basset Hound also, I dont beleive that they "got together" but Im not sure. Her heat seemed really short, maybe a week or two long.

My dog is 10 years old. She's an inside dog. Her toe nails are really long. When my husband and I try to cut them she bites us. THEY really need to be trimmed and I cannot afford the $25 the pet groomer wants to do her nails. I have a brand new pair of clippers for her nails. I need some helpful hints on how to cut them, how much to cut off, how to protect myself from her biting me or scratching me while trying to cut them, what if I cut too far and it bleeds???, She's a big dog...about 85 pounds or so. I'm concerned for her because she tries to bite her own nails. I'm sure they hurt her and I feel like a terrible pet owner. PLEASE HELP

I’ve heard this happens because the cat ends up doing it with a bunch of cats, but that does not sound here to me. Is it true that if they mate with only one cat they may have only one kitten or two but when they do it with multiple they have larger litters with all types of cat mixed?
