No I just got a new 9 week old male on Sunday right here in Kentucky. But I know what you are saying I was searching for a miniature dachshund forever and they were all far away, but I FINALLY came across a breeder here. Lots of internet searching!

Look up the dachshund club of amercia website site. There is tons of great info on there and a list of breeders by state.

Why a puppy? why not an adult dog? then you don't have to go through all the puppy training. check out www.drna.org see for your self.
